Business Insurance Advisor (Sales Representative)
Our sales representatives create relationships with business owners and decision makers. Sales representatives seek out and meet with prospects, and, using a consultative approach, meet with prospects to uncover needs and provide solutions in the areas of employee benefits, business insurance, and human resources. Sales representatives generally specialize in one segment of our business and engage other agency experts to offer a broad range of financial services solutions to their clients. Sales representatives are responsible for new business acquisition—supported by our marketing group—as well as for client retention by continuing to meet the needs of the clients with our array of services and solutions. top^
Account Manager
Once a sale is made, each client is assigned to an account manager to coordinate on-going customer service. Our account managers, who are highly trained to become licensed insurance professionals, manage the ongoing needs of a select group of clients answering their questions, making changes to insurance/benefits programs, and solving problems. They are the center point for communication between our clients and the insurance companies/benefits providers we represent, as well as other team members at Associated Financial Group. Account managers are relied on heavily by the client contacts responsible for carrying out their insurance/benefits program and building long-term customer loyalty. top^
Account Executive
An account executive anticipates and reviews the needs of our clients for all employee benefit/insurance products and facilitates the solutions for their particular needs. This process includes face to face meetings with business owners or HR professionals, presenting our solutions to clients and helping clients get more value out of their insurance/benefits program within their organization. They work within a team, which includes a marketer, an account manager, and a sales representative. An account executive’s focus is on implementing solutions and building and maintaining a successful and long-term relationship with our clients. top^
Marketer
The marketing specialists are responsible for analyzing client information and working with the insurance/benefits providers we represent to put together quotes and proposals for prospects and clients. They team with the sales force in the design of these programs, and negotiate with our providers to be able to deliver the appropriate pricing for the programs desired. A vital part of the job is learning the insurance marketplace and what options are best for our prospects and clients, as this position is a key information provider to sales representatives and other employees. top^
Personal Lines Account Manager
In addition to meeting the business needs of our clients, we provide personal insurance and financial solutions for the business owners and key employees of these organizations. The personal insurance account managers communicate with clients and help them navigate the insurance world, providing these special clients with high-touch personal service. They work as well with insurance company personnel and personal insurance agents to ensure that the service needs of new and existing personal lines policyholders are met. top^
Human Resources Consultant
The human resources consultants advise our business clients as to their rights and responsibilities, primarily in the areas of employment law and human resources. They conduct seminars and training for clients and their managers in these areas as well and keep them abreast of changes in the laws and regulations affecting human resources. The human resources consultants are also key contributors of articles for publication in the Associated Financial Group Update, eLine and Associated Financial Group website. This position requires a Law degree (JD) or Master’s degree. top^
